How we Treat

At Crosby Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic we use a wide range of skills all designed to relieve pain, promote healing and restore function, we also advise on preventative measures and will teach you how to avoid recurrence of your problem.

On your first consultation, you will have a thorough assessment. This involves a full examination, together with an understanding of your work, rest and sport/hobbies.

This full assessment is to identify your problem and ensure that the diagnosis and treatment will relate to you and your whole lifestyle. After full consultation with you and where appropriate with your doctor, we will decide and implement the best form of treatment for you.

The clinical assessment and diagnosis considers the whole body, targeting the cause of the problem as well as treating the symptoms.

.

:: Sport Screening/Fitness Training

:: Sports Massage
Firstly for the sports person it is a main contributor to injury prevention because prevention is better than cure. A massage helps the muscles relax and on doing that the waste is moved out of the muscles and into the lymphatic system generating fresh blood flow with nutrients to feed and look after the muscles.

A massage can also help to relieve stress, headaches and help you relax after a hard days work or training helping with sleep patterns.

We offer certain types of massage being pre, intermediate and post event massage or if you just want to relax we can cater for that also.
